The annual tournament will be held from Friday, September 26 to Sunday, September 28 and will have 124 teams ranging from under-12 to under-18 in action across 10 courts in Echuca, Kyabram and Rochester.
EMBA has 18 teams in action and will be hoping to score wins in their respective competitions.
Thousands are expected to be in the twin towns for the weekend as players, coaches, families and supporters will journey from across regional Victoria.
“One hundred and twenty-four teams is probably standard for us, but, we’ll have 50 referees officiating as well, so it’ll be a very big tournament for us,” association president Lisa Baker said.
“It’ll be a celebration and it'll be really good just to get the first game started and then we can relax a little bit to know that you know kids are on the court, refs are on the court, iPads are working and we're we're good to go.”
Baker wanted to highlight how important Rochester Basketball Association and the use of Kyabram Stadium will be in making the event run smoothly.
“The use of the Kyabram Stadium will be great, we will play there all day Saturday and part of Sunday,” she said.
“The Rochester Basketball Association are a massive help for us as well, they run that venue for us on our behalf.
“So, we don't really have to worry about court supervisors or anything, they handle it themselves, which is a real load off our plate which is great.”
