Farmers can get their hands on some big machinery at a ‘Ride and Drive Day’ at Moama on Friday, October 17.
Goulburn Valley Ag has organised the event to show off three high-horsepower Versatile machines, the 570 HHT Scraper Special, the 400 front-wheel assist and the 620 DeltaTrack.
The biggest of the machines, the DeltaTrack, was on show at the Goulburn Valley Ag site at Elmore Field Days.
It boasts more than 500 horsepower generated by the Cummins engine and delivered through a Cat transmission.
GV Ag dealer principal Christian Barnett said their Power Farming Group (PFG) was running dealer training at the Shepparton and Echuca branches, so they decided to run the drive day for interested farmers.
“It’s a good opportunity to see them up close, get in the cab and get the feel of how they operate,” he said.
The event will run from 10am to 3pm, with food provided.
Anyone interested in participating can contact the Shepparton or Echuca branches or call 5832 5500.
