A car blaze shut down a road near Kyabram for six hours on Thursday, October 9.
Emergency services were called to Graham Rd at 2am to a car that crashed into an electricity pole and caught fire.
Kyabram police Acting Senior Sergeant Paul Van Emmerik said police found the Nissan SUV engulfed in flames with no driver inside.
He said police found the driver, a 30-year-old Rochester man, not far from the accident.
Ambulance Victoria assessed the man at the scene and cleared him of injuries.
Graham Rd was closed for around six hours after the accident.
Acting Sen Sgt Van Emmerik said the circumstances of the crash were being investigated.
