Echuca travelled to Nathalia Showgrounds for its bout with Breretons Bakery NACC, where it got a nine-wicket win in comfortable fashion.
Breretons Bakery won the toss and elected to bat in the T20, getting off to a hot start with openers Cody Power and Jessica Daniel.
The pair scored 23 and 10, respectively and retired not out with Abby Favaro the next highest scorer with 10.
By the end of the 20 overs, Breretons were 4-87, as Lucinda McMaster-Sharrock had the best bowling figures of 1-6.
In the second innings, the girls in green boasted their batting depth as all four of their top order players hit double figures.
Sophie Good (22 not out) and Jessica Cox (17 not out) were unbeaten when Echuca completed the chase in 11 overs, with Gillian Noelker top-scoring with 27 retired not out.
Courtney Cunningham was the only Breretons bowler to jag a wicket, bowling Kate Carlile for 11 and finishing with figures of 1-13.
Moama hit the road to play Cooma, with the side winning convincingly against the host.
Cooma won the toss and elected to bat, with the side managing to play out the 20 overs and finished 7-62.
Sophie McDonald (15) top scored for her side, with Sienna Brennan (9) and Emma Napier (8 not out) providing important cameos.
Moama’s Jordan Dalziel and Sadie Laffy starred with the ball - taking 3-9 and 3-11, respectively.
In the second innings, the Mowers made light work of Cooma’s total, chasing it down inside 10 overs.
Moama captain Delaney Laffy led from the front with 23 while opener Olivia Davy (19 not out) added a stable presence throughout the innings.

The only local side to host a game in round one, Rochester brought down Katty Tigers in the closest game of the round.
Rochy won the toss and elected to bowl first, jagging the wickets of Sienna Hutchinson (3) and Matilda Iddles (4) early.
Tigers’ Amy Bye (10) was the only player to hit double figures as Keeley Major broke the game open with bowling figures of 3-9.
The visitor batted out its 20 overs and finished 6-72 - giving Rochester a decent target for victory.
Despite opener Hayley Broucek (3) falling early, fellow opener Harriet East did the bulk of the work - retiring not out on 31.
Ever the all-rounder, Keeley Major guided her side home with 15 not out with three overs to spare.
Round two will see Bamawm-Lockington United play its first game of the season against Breretons Bakery, Rochester will travel to Cooma and Moama will host cross-border rivals Echuca.
