The 2026 Portsea Camp will be held from January 11 to 17, 2026, and is open to young people aged 8 to 12 years. Cost is $660, but this fee is generously subsidised by local community organisations and businesses, so the maximum fee will be no greater than $460.
Register with a deposit of $200 to Murrumbidgee Council by Monday November 3, with cheques made payable to Jerilderie Portsea Camp Committee, or Direct Deposit to BSB 633-000 account 158651968.
Volunteer camp leaders are also being recruited. Enthusiastic young people, aged 18 years plus, are required to support and supervise children on the bus to and from the camp.
This is an opportunity to make a positive impact and be part of an unforgettable experience. Contact Lauren Hall at Murrumbidgee Council on 1300 676 243 or lauren@murrumbidgee.nsw.gov.au if you are interested, and to find out more.
