The Rich River Golf Croquet Singles Tournament was played across two days at the Rich River Croquet Club, with competitors travelling from Mooroopna, Wagga Wagga, Deniliquin, Shepparton, Quarry Hill, Horsham, Castlemaine, Numurkah, Mornington, Sorrento, Maldon, Boort, Howlong, Kyabram, Golden Square, RNB, Moama and Echuca.

Division 2 competitors played on Saturday, October 25
16 players entered section 1, 6 men and 10 women.
Players were spilt into two groups, playing four games apiece.
Bunty Clark (Howlong) and Robyn Devlin (Horsham) progressed to the Final.

It was lovely weather with many spectators enjoying the match between the finalists.
Both Bunty Clark and Robyn Devlin played well and made some excellent shots, with the crowd enjoying the skills of both women.
It was a close finish, 7 hoops to 6, with Bunty Clark (Howlong) taking the win and defeating the runner-up Robyn Devlin (Horsham).

Division 1 competitors played on Sunday, October 26
16 Players entered Section 1, 15 men and one woman.
The weather was atrocious, with players donning their wet weather gear, and stopping play during the lightning.
The rain stopped for a few hours in the afternoon, allowing the finals to be played in dry weather.
Players were spilt into two groups, playing four games apiece, after which the two top players from each group played off in a semi-final, with the winners progressing to the final.

In the semi-final, Darren Mcloughlin (Wagga Wagga) played off against Graham Smith (Castlemaine), and Alister McDougal (Boort) played off against Ian Fasham (Sorrento).
Darren Mcloughlin and Alister McDougal won their games and progressed to the final.
It was a good game to watch, with both men showing off their skill and gamesmanship.
In the end, the winner was Alister McDougal (Boort) 7, beating the runner-up Darren Mcloughlin (Wagga Wagga), 5.
