After sides took a general bye the previous weekend, Ky showed no ill effects from the week off, winning two rinks comprehensively and narrowly getting the job done in the third.

Paul McInnes was in good touch for the host at Kyabram Bowling Club, leading his quartet of Liam McInnes, Chris Williams and Alan Donaldson to the biggest win of the tie, 26-11.
Skip Robert George also came out on top, taking down the Bradley Tinning-led squad 20-12.

In the remaining rink, Greg Shilling survived a significant challenge against Matthew Liverton to earn Ky the clean sweep, 16-15.
Kyabram took the match-up convincingly 16-62 to 0-38.

The Redbacks eclipsed Stanhope by two competition points on the league table to move into the top four, after the latter fell to Mathoura, 14-57 to 2-47.
The Timbercutters finally broke through for their first win of the season, with Peter Holzer’s rink stepping up to secure the points.

His outfit picked up the win 25-15, those 10 shots proving the final margin after the sides split 17-15 results in the other two rinks.
David Hicks skipped the other success for Mathoura, while Peter Myers pulled back two points for Stanhope in his rink.
In a top-of-the-table showdown, Moama got the win over Echuca 14-61 to 2-53, knocking it down from first to third.

Rodney Werner earned the majority of the margin, his side scoring victory 22-12 over Echuca’s Ian Page.
Steve Cunnington pulled back a rink for Echuca, 22-17, but Geoffrey Beattie’s Moama squad was too strong in the remaining rink, winning 22-19 to ensure the Steamers would finish the week on top of the ladder.
Struggler Rochester showed plenty of heart against Deniliquin, but Deni showed the quality to prevail 14-61 to 2-55.
All three rinks were closely contested, but Conway Bovell’s proved valuable for Deniliquin, his squad getting up 19-13.

Shane Laing’s 23-21 victory for Deniliquin was cancelled out across the greens by Rochester’s Don Gillies, who also scored a two-shot win, 21-19.
Deni jumped past Echuca into second spot with the win.
Rich River had the bye.
Lower divisions
In division two, Echuca was too strong for Deniliquin 16-62 to 0-45, while Stanhope ran up a big score over Kyabram 14-72 to 2-48.
Rich River just got past Tongala, 13-62 to 3-60 and Moama had the bye.
In division three, Moama had all the running over Echuca 16-75 to 0-53, while Kyabram also scored maximum points against Tongala, 16-75 to 0-46.
Rich River got the best of Lockington, 14-76 to 2-46, Elmore scored victory over Stanhope, 14-60 to 2-47 and Rochester defeated Deniliquin 14-69 to 2-51.
In division four, Moama had the quality to take down Echuca, 16-74 to 0-42, while Lockington and Rich River shared the points, Locky with the slight edge 9-60 to 7-60.
Rochester obliterated Ky Valley View 16-101 to 0-30 and Deniliquin RSL earned a narrow win over Mathoura 12-57 to 4-51.
The result between Tongala and Kyabram wasn’t yet recorded.
In division five, Moama defeated Echuca White, 12-45 to 2-34, while stablemate Echuca Blue had better luck against Rich River 12-40 to 2-30.
Kyabram took down Lockington 12-40 to 2-34, Deniliquin White scored the win over Rochester 12-44 to 2-39 and Stanhope forfeited the points to Deniliquin Blue.
