Held on Friday, December 5, the market began at 5pm and wrapped up around 8pm.
The market took over the centre of town, with Gillies St and MacKay St lined with market stalls, food stalls and live entertainment.

From gifts for loved ones to treats for themselves, attendees had no shortage of options to complete their Christmas shopping lists.
There was a range of fresh produce, homemade jams, toys and gadgets for children, plants, fresh flowers, arts and craft, jewellery and more.
Local stores also opened their doors to shoppers and offered ‘shop local’ discounts throughout the event.

Rochester Business Network secretary Edie May said market-goers gave positive feedback about the event.
“I actually started coming to the market 10 years ago,” she said.
“I've been rained out twice. I've been heated and winded out at least twice ... but I've had a lot of fun at every one.
“The feedback I've had has been that this has been one of the best, from outside visitors as well, so that's been pretty good.”
