Tough Tilly Day will return to Moama on Saturday, January 3, marking the third consecutive year supporting those affected by epidermolysis bullosa, at Perricoota Station.
The family-friendly event raises awareness and supports research into EB, a rare genetic skin disorder with no cure.
Individuals affected by EB lack essential proteins in their skin, making it fragile and prone to blisters and open wounds.
“It’s a really debilitating kind of disease,” Cure EB Foundation administration manager Melissa Burela said.
Tough Tilly Day is named after Tilly Wilkes, who was born with the condition.
It began as a small fundraiser among family and friends, before growing into an annual community event.
This year’s program includes live music featuring Screamin’ Eagles, Tristian J Ross, The Longhorns and The Davidson Brothers.
Children’s entertainment, such as a petting zoo and jumping castle, will also be available.
Food trucks, charity auctions and raffles are also part of the event program.
Merchandise will be available for purchase, including T-shirts, picnic blankets and stubby holders.
Ms Burela said volunteer support was welcome to assist with guest check-in, merchandise sales and raffle ticket sales.
Anyone interested in volunteering on the day can contact events@cureeb.org.au for more information.
The event begins at 1pm, with tickets priced at $100 for adults, $35 for those aged 11 to 17 and free for children under 10.
Tickets are available at cureeb.org.au/toughtillyday2026
Courtesy buses will operate from locations across Echuca and Moama, providing transport to and from the event.
Details on bus schedules and pickup locations will be shared closer to the day on Cure EB Foundation’s social media and event website.
