Riverbank Moama was among 12 NSW restaurants credited with the accolade, and the only regional venue from the state to make the list.
Owner Nikki Cohen said it was an “incredible honour” to see her venue singled out for country-wide praise.
“We put so much heart into what we do, so being recognised on a national level feels both humbling and motivating,” she said.
“It’s a proud moment for our team and our community.”
OpenTable’s annual Top 50 Restaurants in Australia rankings celebrate the most sought-after destinations nationally, this year informed by over 195,000 diner reviews.
Operating since 2020, Riverbank Moama is a family-run business perched on the Murray River, frequented by locals and visitors alike.
Ms Cohen said the venue’s success was driven by passion, consistency and a strong team culture.
“Both our front-of-house and kitchen crew work tirelessly to create an experience guests want to return for, and this recognition reflects their dedication and talent,” she said.
The modern Australian restaurant has a high ranking on OpenTable’s platform, with many reviews mentioning the outstanding service and food.
Not only does Ms Cohen hope the recognition drives more guests visit her venue, but brings more visitors to the region overall.
“Recognition like this builds momentum and helps us keep growing and improving,” she said.
“We’ll keep refining our menu, celebrating local ingredients and creating new experiences for our guests.”
