Echuca Harness Racing Club’s New Year’s Pacing Cup is a perfect way to spend the first evening of 2026 with the family.
If you and your family want to start 2026 off right, head to Echuca Harness Racing Club on Thursday, January 1 for the Moama Bowling Club Echuca Pacing Cup.

Not only will there be a full slate of on-track action, but there will be plenty of entertainment off-track, with live music from the SOS ABBA Tribute Show, food and drinks and kids activities such as a water slide and jumping castle.
Bring a rug and chairs and sit on the lawn and enjoy all the event has to offer, ideal for families with a warm Thursday evening forecast.
Feature races will include the 2026 Moama Bowling Club Echuca Pacing Cup, Echuca Steel Sheds Echuca Trotters Cup, Phyllis Lindberg Family Trot, the Frank and Carmel Ryan Memorial Pace and the Tiffany Murray Memorial Pace.
There will be various food vans at the event and an ice-cream van for dessert, with the Echuca-Moama Show Society running a barbecue.
Gates open at 5pm, with the first race scheduled to start at 6pm.
Admission is $18 for adults and children 15 and under receive free entry.
Be sure to take advantage of the Early Bird Adult tickets, which can be bought for $12.
The evening will finish with a spectacular fireworks display for all to enjoy following the last race on the program at 10pm.
