Echuca CFA responds to back-to-back New Year’s Eve callouts

After extinguishing the fire at Hare St, the unit sped away with lights and sirens to a fire that had begun on Premier St in Echuca.

A CFA spokesperson told the Riv the fire on Premier St was a small grass fire called in at about 2.30pm.

By the time the units arrived at the scene at 2.39pm the fire was out, and was declared safe.
