More than $60,000 has been raised in one day for Imam Shaikh Moulana Abdul Salik after his family home at Bald Hills in Brisbane's north burned on Wednesday.
Police believe the fire was not suspicious and the mosque has acknowledged the "unfortunate accident".
The GoFundMe's organiser closed new donations on Friday after its $50,000 target was reached, thanking the community for their kindness and gracious efforts to support the family.
All funds raised will go to support the family as they prepare to live in temporary accommodation and work to find long-term housing.
The incident has been "distressing and traumatic" for the imam of the Masjid Taqwa mosque and his family, the Council of Imams Queensland said.
"Recently, Imam Salik's family home sustained significant fire damage, causing immense shock, distress and hardship for him and his family," council president Akram Buksh said in a statement.
"While we are profoundly grateful that no lives were lost and that the family is physically safe, the emotional and practical impact of this incident has been substantial."
Firefighters were called to the home just after 6pm on Wednesday following reports of an external fire affecting the back of the property.
All occupants were accounted for, with no injuries reported before the fire was extinguished about 20 minutes later, a Queensland fire department spokesman said.
Crews remained on scene to cool down gas cylinders at the location.
Queensland police investigations have since deemed the fire as non-suspicious, a spokeswoman said.
The Bald Hills mosque on Friday acknowledged the police investigation confirming there was "no untoward or suspicious activity involved" in the fire.
"The incident has been determined to be an unfortunate accident, and there is no ongoing risk to the Imam, the mosque or the wider community," it said in a statement.
Imam Salik's mosque was targeted by in December with white supremacist symbols and also subjected to death threats.
