The family-friendly launch event will feature free activities including a colouring competition, face painting, balloon animals and a sausage sizzle.
Gordon the Golf Cart cookies and a special book reading will conclude the day.
The book will be available for purchase at the event.
The Adventures of Gordon the Golf Cart aims to teach children aged 3-7 about teamwork, friendship and having a go.
The heartwarming story behind the book began when Tracey moved to Moama in 2020 to be closer to her family, not knowing anyone in the area.
A chance introduction to golf through her son Lachie, a Rich River member, and a friendly invitation from fellow member Jan transformed everything.
“Jan has a golf cart, and honestly, that's where everything changed,” Tracey said.
“From that first game, we became close, and it all felt like fate.”
The inspiration struck during her first golf cart ride with Jan.
“I had this overwhelming urge to write a children's book about a golf cart,” Tracey said.
“The story, the characters, all of it just appeared in my head as I was in the golf cart with Jan.
“The more time I spent at Rich River, the stronger that feeling became.
“The club truly became the inspiration.”
Every character in the series is named after a family member, making the books deeply personal.
What began as a simple relocation has blossomed into a six-book series and even a pilot for an animated adaptation.
“With a background in psychology and a deep love for spending time with my family, I wanted to create a story that encourages young children to put down the screens and discover the joy of golf,” Tracey said.
“I'm beyond grateful for the support from Little Steps Publishing, Golf Australia, Rich River Golf Club, and my incredible circle of family (and) friends who have backed this dream from the start.”
