Detectives from Benalla Criminal Unit executed a search warrant at a Benalla address and recovered several items believed to have been stolen during the burglary.
During the search methylamphetamine and cannabis were also located, and the male was subsequently charged in relation to drug possession, possess prohibited weapon and committing indictable offence while on bail.
The man will be required to appear at court in April.
Detectives have charged two men, aged 43 and 20, in relation to two separate incidents at a Benalla school earlier this month.
Police allege the males entered a storage shed and stole various items, including two bicycles.
The bicycles were recovered and returned to the victim.
The two men, both from Benalla, are charged with burglary, theft of bicycle and criminal damage.
They have been bailed to appear at court in March.
