The driver has been missing since Wednesday, January 28, and police said the priority was to confirm there was no injured person lost who needed assistance.
Emergency services were called to a crash on Perricoota Rd/Caloola Rd about 7.36am Wednesday.
A rolled car had been abandoned and left running at the side of the road.
“No person was seen with the vehicle, and after a look around for any driver or occupants, police were contacted,” Detective Chief Inspector Michael Fuller said.
“A police operation was established with other emergency services, including ambulance, Fire and Rescue NSW, Volunteer Rescue Association and SES members.
“A search operation was commenced to attempt to locate any injured driver who may have been in the area. This included farmland and other structures.
“The police operation continues today to search the area around the crash site, in the event the driver was injured and had walked away from the crash site.
“Police are asking for public assistance from anyone who has any information about the crash.
“Police ask if anyone picked up a person around the Perricoota Rd/Caloola Rd, Womboota to let Moama police know.
“In the event the driver/occupants made it back home, we ask them to make contact with police to let us know you are safe.”
