In partnership with several organisations, the Petstock Foundation and Petstock Group is providing relief to towns and communities, helping pets and their families regain stability and care in the wake of the ongoing crisis.
To date, the Petstock Foundation has delivered more than $60,000 in pet food, veterinary supplies and financial support to Victorian communities affected by the bushfires.
“Our focus is on practical, on-the-ground support,” Naomi Mancktelow from the Petstock Foundation said.
“For many families, pets are a vital source of comfort during emergencies. Making sure they have access to food, care and veterinary support is an essential part of helping communities recover.”
Pet parents in affected areas are encouraged to access assistance through local Foodbank distribution points, participating community vet clinics, or partner organisations currently operating in the region.
Support delivered to Victorian communities includes:
- Foodbank Australia: $38,000 contribution and 20 pallets of Petstock own-brand cat and dog food distributed across fire-affected Victorian communities.
- Vets for Compassion: $5000 donation to enable rapid response for wildlife, livestock and companion animals on bushfire-affected properties.
“As recovery efforts continue across Victoria, the Petstock Foundation and Petstock Group remain committed to standing alongside local communities, ensuring pets are not forgotten in times of crisis and that families can access the support they need to rebuild,” Naomi said.
