Water safety
With the district community enjoying more of the outdoors, this is a timely reminder to make sure you are across safety, equipment and licensing and registration for boats and personal watercraft if you are out and about on our waterways.
The Victorian Recreational Boating Safety Handbook is a valuable reference if you are applying for a marine license or a personal watercraft endorsement.
The 2021 version is available to download in word document or PDF at https://transportsafety.vic.gov.au/maritime-safety/recreational-vessel-operators/powerboat/victorian-recreational-boating-safety-handbook
