Riva Dance Studio: The dedicated crew who spent months preparing for Friday evening’s debutante ball at the Rich River Golf Club. The event was again co-ordinated by dance studio gurus Collette May and Robyn Hayes. The group was only a week away from presentation before going into lockdown and having to do a refresher course before the ball. There are three more debutante balls in the next three weeks, which include groups from the past two years of hiccups. There are almost 100 kids involved in the debutante balls, in total. Ms Hayes said the group had shown great resilience to return to practice and be presented to the community. “Hopefully the debs of 2022 will have no interruptions or hiccups.” Ms Hayes said the Rich River Golf Club had gone above and beyond to ensure the debutantes were provided with dates for their events.
