March Monthly Medal
After the welcome rain earlier in the week, conditions were always going to be tougher on a heavier course. Well, that is what one would have thought, but at least a dozen ladies over both courses proved this to be incorrect by posting scores below, at, or around their handicaps.
A/B grade played the Murray with the winner being Judy Leeson (20) posting a fine 69 net, while runner up was the inform Judy Langford ( with 70 net, on a countback from Julie Kirchen (19).

Balls went to 77 net.
C/D grade played the Lake course. The winner with a great score of 69 net was Joyce Oberman (29). Olivia Ng (27) with 71 net was the runner up.

7th - Kaye Reeves
Balls went to 81 net.
Judy Leeson and Joyce Oberman (her first medal ) were the winners of our March medal and pewter.

Saturday March 7
On Saturday 59 ladies vied for the March medal on the Murray Course. Chrissy Gilligan was the eventual winner with a great 42 points.
A grade winner was of course Chrissy Gilligan (18), with her 42 while runner up on a three way count back was Lorraine Christie (24) with 36 points from Louise Cross (15) and Anna Castles (22).
Chrissy also won the pewter for A grade.
B grade was won by Amanda Pete Peterson (30) with 38 points while runner up was Jenny Orr (41) with a score of 37. Amanda Pete was the winner of the pewter for B grade.

YMGCR Men’s Nine Holers
Tuesday’s damp weather kept many players away, so the Pot Round was deferred until Thursday.
A ball competition was held instead, and on the Blue, Graham Milner claimed the win with 20 points. Bob "Divi" Vann, Mick Doran, and Ian Barton shared the ball prize.
On the Red, new member Stuart "The General" Patton claimed both Nearest the Pins but lost on a countback to Rod Newman, with both finishing on 18 points. Balls went to John Kolodziez and Artie Massey.
Thursday’s Pot Round saw Ray Minette take the bacon on the Blue, defeating Stuart Patton on a countback with 31 strokes.
On the Red, Stuart Nixon won the day with 35 strokes, four ahead of Rick Nielson on 39, with balls awarded to those scoring 41 on a countback.
