While the final makeup of the league isn’t yet official, round one will begin on April 24.
When it does, Echuca will be defending back-to-back women’s crowns, although the titles have come in different forms.
The club won two years ago simply as Echuca Moama, but split the squad in two for 2025, Echuca Moama Green going on to defend the combined outfit’s crown.
Whatever form the squad takes, the club’s women will be out to prove dominance once again in defence of the championship.
On the men’s side, the River Rats fell heavily in last season’s decider to Strikers and will be hoping to go one better this time around.
The club’s juniors will also be out to prove themselves across the age levels.
The next generation of juniors, aged five to 10, have the opportunity to get involved with the club’s Hookin2Hockey program, which started on March 5.
The national program introduces players to the skills of the game, with all equipment provided.

Sessions run on Thursdays from 4.30pm at Echuca College and there’s still an opportunity to register and jump in.
Training has also kicked off for the junior and senior sides on Thursdays, with free Come and Try sessions for new or returning players.
Juniors begin at 5pm and seniors at 6pm.
Find more information on both programs on the club’s Facebook page.
