COACHES CORNER / JAYDEN HOWE
What’s the biggest focus for your group in 2026?
The biggest focus that Lockington will have this year is getting into finals.
What will supporters notice about this team?
Structure across the ground. A cohesive team that knows what they’re trying to achieve and they’re going to live by the sword or die by the sword type style of football.
What’s your side’s greatest strength?
Our kids. I think that’s one thing we really need to hang our hat on. We’ve got a lot of really good talented youth.
What still needs the most work?
When you've got young kids the area to develop is trying to either recruit or get young kids to become leaders, so you either recruit leaders or you try and turn young kids into leaders.
What does success look like for this group in 2026?
We want to play consistent football. We want to play four quarters of football. We want to play hard football, and we want to play finals.
