Festivities began on Friday, March 27 with a Foundation Day liturgy, followed by a student-led fair that set the tone for the weekend.
Saturday saw the Brigidine campus open its doors to the public, with guided tours offering a glimpse into the college’s history.
A major highlight was the official unveiling of a refurbished courtyard, featuring a new statue honouring the enduring contribution of the Brigidine Sisters.

College principal Anne Marie Cairns said the weekend was a significant milestone for the college community.
“We all felt very privileged to be a part of the weekend celebrations, but more importantly to be able to play a very small part in the last 140 years,” she said.
“We will build on the history and legacy of the Brigidine Sisters today, tomorrow and beyond. We deliver a consistent, well-established, great education to all.”
The community came together one final time to honour the college’s rich history on Sunday, March 29 with a Mass at St Mary’s Parish.
