The Bulldogs desperately need to win, hanging onto sixth place in the race for finals for dear life with a surging Rochester nipping at their heels.
The Magpies, while mathematically still a chance to play finals, are long odds to reach the post-season, but will be intent on finishing their season with a couple of victories.
While they will be ruing the fact they have lost three games by less than five points, Magpies coach Scott Rowan said his side was keen to finish the year on a high.
"We're just doing everything we can to win the last two games," he said.
"We won't be finishing where we want to because we won't be playing finals, but we want to take some momentum through to next year and make sure we keep the supporters on side.
"There's a couple of blokes we might like to have a look at, Jack Frewen came in against Kyabram and really held his own, it's always exciting to see young kids do well. Probably not tomorrow, but there's a couple of 18s we might have a look at in the last game."
Unlike the Bulldogs, who beat Mooroopna by 49 points last Saturday, the Magpies do not bring winning form to the contest, although they did show plenty of promise in a 47-point loss to Kyabram.
Not only did the Magpies win the second half, something not many sides have done against the Bombers this season, emerging talents continued to show what they can bring to the side for years to come.
"It was very pleasing that at half-time we were able to say we didn't care about the score, let's play the sort of football we have played for the last two months," Rowan said.
"It was really pleasing to see the guys back themselves in, and a real sign that if we do play our football and don't panic, we can match it with teams.
"Jett Trotter was fantastic, but he's been good all year. He's putting in a lot of work and doing really well, he's shown he's a bloody good player.
"(Lachie Hill) as a young bloke wins the football himself and has courage going back with the flight against men. I don't see how he hasn't attracted more attention from the Bushies, but we've spoken about that and I daresay he'll be doing a pre-season with them this year."
Tatura adds Jason Tutt to its list of players who will not return this season along with Jaydan Thewma, Matt Ryan and Liam Borrelli, although coach Jamason Daniels returned to the side from a severe knee injury last weekend after previously being announced as missing the entire campaign.
