Moama Anglican Grammar's Victorian students to remain on campus

MOAMA Anglican Grammar School will continue with on-campus learning for all students until further notice.

Cross border commissioner James McTavish today said Victorian students who studied in NSW would be required to learn from home once the state moved to stage three restrictions tomorrow.

However, MAGS principal Carmel Spry said the school had not been told to make the move as yet.

“We haven’t had any updates today,” Mrs Spry said.

“But we’ve been told things are continuing with border permits with our students because they are not able to learn remotely as remote learning is not required for the school at this stage.

“Our staff and students who live in Victoria are still able to come to school with their current border permits at this stage.

“If we move to remote learning, they will have to remain in Victoria, but we have had no update on that today.

“There is no question as to whether our staff and students are allowed to come here under the rules.”
