Echuca Racing Club will host its third meeting within a month on Sunday, with better weather expected for punters than recent race days.
The first of a seven-race meeting will kick off from 12.55pm, with several locals in the mix for strong showings.
The Cornish/Gaskin stable is set to debut three-year-old Sturdy Time in the Echuca Moama Print and Design Maiden Plate over 1300m, before Rhys and Daryl Archard go head-to-head with Honeywine and Dente respectively in race four, the Carlton Draught 0-58 Handicap over 1400m.
This race might be the best chance of a local winner, with the Cornish/Gaskin stable and Gwenda Johnstone both having stakes in the race with Full Ahead and Conconi.
Daryl Archard will again be seen in the Hygain 0-58 Handicap over 1200m with Barmah Al, with the five-year-old gelding finishing fourth, first, third and second in its last four races.
Meanwhile Johnstone will feature twice in the 0-58 Moama Bowling Club 0-58 Handicap - with six-year-old mare Danger in the Past and four-year-old gelding Bon Shadow going for the finish line.
The first race is at 12.55pm.
