Northern Country Women’s League has finalised its youth women’s squad to face Bendigo Junior Football Club on Sunday, June 19, in a historic first for the competition.
Five Echuca United players will represent the league, with Jaymi Clancy, Brodie Marsten, Hayleigh Lewer, Jada Bover and Jessie Hall selected in the 23-player side.

Out of Moama Recreation Reserve, Magpies players Bree Morris, Ella Platfuss, Bree Church, Jemika Cooper, Niah Bacon, Payton Hearn, and Shaleah Cooper make up the seven-strong representation in the NCWL team.
Four Shepparton Swans players and seven Shepparton United players are also in the squad.
NCWL announced an initial 28-player squad in early June, with several training sessions held to determine the inaugural youth women’s side.
NCWL will hold a training session on Thursday before the two leagues go head-to-head at Tannery Lane Recreation Reserve, Strathfieldsaye, on Sunday from 1.50pm.
