Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ is making its way back to Byramine Homestead on Sunday, February 3.
Mark Wilson (Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth) is delighted to be returning to the company to direct Shakespeare’s most popular comedy.
Mark has a wealth of experience performing and directing Shakespeare and brings a keen eye to this enchanting and romantic tale.
The company are also very pleased to welcome experienced designer, Laura Hawkins to the company to weave her magic amongst the land of Athens.

The Tale
The cast of eight professional actors will take you on a spell binding ride, as Byramine Homestead transforms into the magical land of Athens.
On a Midsummer’s night, four young lovers find themselves wrapped in the dream-like arms of an enchanted forest where sprites play and fairies rule.
While a feuding Fairy King and Queen are at war, their paths are crossed by Bottom, Quince and their bumbling mates presenting a play within a play.
Leading mischief-maker Puck is on-hand to ensure that the course of true love is anything but smooth and games of fantasy, love and dreams ensue in Shakespeare’s most wondrous comedy.
