The Tungamah girls enjoying the wins were keen for another good game. Picola had other plans not willing to give the Bears an easy 4 points. Tungamah had a messy start but reset at half time and focused on playing their game, finishing strong, giving it their all to run out the last half.
A strong defence got them back in the game at the end of the third and a solid final quarter saw the Bears’ girls 15 goals to Picola 1.
Awards: Kait Megarrity – Free as a Bird and Amber Peachey – Bella Pelle.
Under 17s
Tungamah 32 defeated Picola United 15.
It was a very cold and windy day at the Bear pit. The girls were very determined to get the win on the board. With a few girls out with Covid the team had to be adjusted with throwing girls into some positions they haven’t played this season.
The goalies worked incredible hard all game and did a fantastic job by moving around the ring and getting any rebound they could.
The defensive end did an amazing job by getting their hands to the ball by getting intercepts or taps to slow the game down. The mid court did an awesome job by using their channels and feeding the ball into the ring beautifully. It was a great win! Well done girls.

Under 15s
Tungamah 23 defeated Picola United 18.
The girls started off really slow in the first quarter by being down 3 goals. After a little talk the girls really listened to the coaches and worked well down the court to clear out and turn the score around to 10-8. The girls produced an awesome last half of netball, keeping the lead and really giving it their all to get the win, by using their hard drives and space.
Thank you to Brooke and Tayla for helping out this week, you girls did an awesome job taking the court!

A great game against Picola by the Under 11s. They demonstrated good positioning on the ring to support the shooting and a sound defence.
