Isabelle Kelly has capped off a strong NRLW season with a contract extension to remain with the Sydney Roosters through 2026.
The 27-year-old centre was part of the Roosters' inaugural NRLW squad in 2018 and has played all but one season for the side, leaving briefly in 2020 to join St George Illawarra.
She was a member of the Roosters side that won the 2021 grand final and was named Dally M captain of the year in her first season as skipper a year later.
Kelly enjoyed another strong season in 2023, earning selection in the Dally M team of the year.
The captain now holds the longest active NRLW contract at the Roosters, though teammate Millie Boyle has an option to stay put after her deal formally expires in 2025.
"I'm incredibly proud to know that I'll continue to represent the Sydney Roosters for at least the next three years," Kelly said.
"This club means so much to me, and I believe we have what it takes to achieve even greater success in the coming years."
With 32 appearances to her name, Kelly trails only Brisbane halfback Ali Brigginshaw and Canberra's Zahara Temara (both 33) for most NRLW games.
In 2024, she will be tasked with helping the Roosters bounce back from consecutive semi-final upset losses.Â
The side was defeated by Gold Coast at home last Sunday with a spot in the grand final on the line.
