Sydney Roosters recruit Spencer Leniu has been put on report for alleged racial abuse after Brisbane star Ezra Mam made a complaint against the front-rower.

In a moment that threatens to overshadow rugby league's march into Las Vegas, Leniu was put on report by referee Adam Gee in the 69th minute of the Roosters' 20-10 win.
After hearing a complaint from Indigenous star Mam, referee Adam Gee spoke with both captains, the Roosters' James Tedesco and Brisbane's Adam Reynolds.
"Ezra has made a formal complaint and it's racial in nature, OK? Against Spencer," Gee said.
"I havent heard it. The incident goes on report.
"It will be dealt with after. That's where it's left."
Gee then told Tedesco to ensure Leniu kept a cool head late in the match.
The incident came in a brutal but entertaining win for the Roosters to start the season, in front of 40,746 fans at Allegiant Stadium.
