These cards are meant for digital purchases, not bills, fines, or tech support.
No government agency, bank, or real business accepts them as payment.
Scammers ask for the codes, then disappear with your money.
Once used, gift card funds are gone for good and nearly impossible to recover.
Always stop and think: if it sounds strange, it probably is. Real companies don’t work this way.
Trust no-one. Verify everything.
Banks will never ask to access your computer
If someone claiming to be from your bank asks to access your computer remotely — hang up immediately.
This is a classic scam tactic.
Real banks will never ask for remote access, your passwords, or to install software.
Scammers often pretend to “fix” an issue, but they’re really stealing your money or data.
Always call your bank directly using a known number if you’re unsure.
Stay alert — trust your gut and verify everything.
