Former students, teachers, families, and friends are warmly encouraged to return to where it all began and take part in a day of celebration, reflection, and connection.
The day begins at 10.30am with guest registration, followed by an official ceremony at 11am, honouring the school's long and proud history. Visitors can explore historical displays, enjoy a student performance, and take a trip down memory lane through photos, memorabilia, and classroom setups from across the decades.
Make it a family day out, with free kids’ activities, a BBQ lunch, coffee and donut van, and a CFA exhibit to delight guests of all ages. Special commemorative memorabilia will also be available for purchase, allowing you to take home a piece of history.
Whether you attended Goornong Primary School last year or last century, this is your chance to reconnect with old classmates, meet current students and staff, and celebrate everything that makes this small rural school such a big part of the local community.
