In 2026, St Joseph’s College Echuca will mark an extraordinary milestone — 140 years of education, faith, and community. Since its founding in 1886 by the Brigidine Sisters, the College has been a cornerstone of Echuca’s story, shaping generations of students through a proud tradition of compassion, courage and excellence.

This momentous 140th Anniversary offers a meaningful opportunity to honour the Brigidine Sisters’ legacy in Australia, celebrate the College’s vibrant community, and reflect on the enduring impact of its mission over more than a century.

The official birthday falls on Sunday, 22 March 2026, with a full weekend of celebrations from March 27–29, 2026, featuring a program of memorable highlights:

A vibrant student celebration at Brigidine Campus
Guided College and township heritage tours
A Light Luncheon and formal opening of the restored Brigidine Courtyard, followed by a campus tour
A Formal Anniversary Dinner at Brigidine Campus
A special Mass at St Mary’s Parish

These events will bring together Brigidine Sisters, alumni, staff, students, families and the wider Echuca community— a true celebration of faith, friendship, and shared history.
