Following a successful year of exhibitions, Strathbogie Shire Council’s innovative travelling exhibition space, ARTBOX, is back for another exciting year and calling for new artists to exhibit in 2025. Could it be you?

Supported by Creative Arts Victoria and launched in July 2023, ARTBOX has quickly established itself as an out-of-the-box platform for artists of all levels, offering a unique opportunity to connect with broader audiences.

Over the past year, 30 artists have been featured in ARTBOX, sharing their creations with the local community and visitors to the region. The mobile gallery showcased a mix of internationally renowned talents alongside local emerging artists, including students from Peranbin Primary College’s Strathbogie campus.

The mobile gallery fosters a vibrant arts scene in regional and remote areas of the shire, with artists reporting significant interest in their work, leading to sales.

Applications are now open for the 2025 ARTBOX program, inviting both established and emerging artists to share their work with new audiences across the region. Applicants can even choose the town and exhibition dates that best suit them. So, if you’ve always dreamed of exhibiting your art, this could be the perfect opportunity!
