What is your favourite thing about the Goulburn Valley?

I love the community spirit, there are always new people to meet and connect with. I also love being so close to nature. The lake is one of my favourite places and I often go there to read.

What do you do with yourself?

I used to be a primary school teacher. I absolutely loved it and sometimes miss teaching. I am also a mother to three children, a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, which keeps us fairly busy!

How do you like spending your free time?

I love reading, taking walks in nature and gardening.

What piece of advice would you give your younger self?

Believe in yourself, and do not let anyone change your kind heart.
