Another opportunistic theft

By Olivia Duffey

Residents and visitors are being urged to take more care with their belongings, and reduce the number of opportunistic crimes in the region.

Leading Senior Constable Peter Joice said these types of thefts always increase over the summer holiday period.

In the most recent incident, a bicycle has been reported stolen from a local caravan park.

It is a black mountain bike with white, blue and orange spots, and was last seen at the caravan park about 9am on January 14.
