Trailing by 16 points at half-time, Echuca needed a big second half to overcome Kyabram at the weekend.
Andrew Walker and Will Monahan answered that call.
Monahan’s game in particular saw him earn player-of-the-round honours.
The Murray Bombers forward tallied 26 disposals, four goals and had the safest hands on the ground with 13 marks, many of which came in the all-important third term that saw Echuca slam home seven goals.
It was arguably his best game of the season, but he wasn’t alone in Echuca’s revival.
Echuca coach Walker was the pick of the midfielders, collecting a game-high 31 disposals, a staggering 20 contested possessions and 11 clearances in a midfield masterclass.
Kaine Herbert (28 disposals) and Zac Norris (18 disposals, 25 hit-outs, 10 clearances) put in a big shift for Kyabram in a losing cause.
