The Bulldogs expect to field an impressive 17 teams this year across senior football, women’s football, junior football including Auskick, and junior and senior netball.
Backed by a strong base of past players, volunteers and supporters, president Michael Reid said the club was once again set to be a central part of the Tatura community.
“The off-season has brought fresh energy, with new leadership appointments across key roles,” Michael said.
“I’m joined by a passionate coaching and development group this year.”
These include senior football coach Andrew Ciavarella, A-grade netball coach Stacey Thompson, senior and junior football development manager Will Sexton, junior netball development manager Elsie Boyer, and junior football co-ordinator Bob Knowles.
Michael said together, they’ve laid strong foundations for the year ahead along with several new and returning board members, coaches and team managers.
“Senior football is a major focus in 2026, with approximately 15 new players recruited, strong pre-season training numbers and an enthusiastic under 18s group pushing through,” he said.
“Combined with quality coaching across all grades, there’s a renewed optimism around on-field performance.”
Off the field, the club is enhancing membership packages, expanding volunteer opportunities and continuing vital fundraising efforts, including a major raffle of a brand-new Toyota Prado Kakadu which you can purchase a ticket for.
Sponsorship remains a cornerstone of the club’s success, with local businesses encouraged to get involved.
With a proud history and a big-hearted community behind it, the Tatura Football Netball Club is ready to tackle 2026 together.
“The Bulldogs are calling on everyone to be part of what promises to be a positive, inclusive and exciting season ahead,” Michael said.
