Two men have been shot in a main street of Sydney's inner west as police hunt for the attacker.

Emergency services were called to a business on Marrickville Road, Marrickville about 1.50pm on Friday, with police later finding the two wounded men.
Both were treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital, police said. One man was in a critical condition.
The scene has been cordoned off to allow examination by specialist forensic officers.
"Local detectives have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting and will be assisted by specialist detectives as required," a police statement said.
Any link to two vehicle fires at Marrickville and Dulwich Hill will also be investigated.
