Vivid’s FUNraising Committee’s Oaks Day Luncheon is just around the corner, which promises a fun day with friends all in support of people with disability.

Back for its fourth year, all money raised will go towards buying a new bus for Vivid’s clients.

Vivid FUNraising Committee president Helen Clyne said they were hoping to top the $8000 raised at last year’s luncheon.

“This is Vivid’s biggest fundraiser of the year and it’s just great to see all the ladies dressed up and having a good time,” she said.

“It’s really important to support the community in any way we can to provide opportunities for people with disability.”

The luncheon will be held on Thursday, November 7 at Rich River Golf Club from 12pm.

Tickets cost $95 per person which includes a complimentary drink on arrival followed by a three-course gourmet lunch.

There will be a TAB service, sweeps, raffles and prizes for lady of the day and hat of the day.
