More to the point, what’s happening on Tuesdays at The Foundry?
Take Art on Tuesday is an art class that has been a part of The Foundry Arts Space for several years, so if you’re feeling like a little creativity in your week, this is the perfect opportunity (under the tutelage of Bronwyn Beer) to immerse yourself in a new world of imaginative possibilities.
Take Art on Tuesday and feel good for the rest of your week.
Bronwyn's students will celebrate their creative success at the second exhibition at The Foundry Arts Space starting on November 22 and running until December 1, withthe official opening on Tuesday, November 26, at 5pm.
The exhibition will showcase the diverse artworks produced throughout the weekly art classes offered at The Foundry.
“The younger students work hard to improve their skills through a variety of mediums such as printing, ceramics, sculpture, painting and drawing, where themes range from traditional landscape to portraiture and abstraction to the more obscure adventures of Alice,” Bronwyn said.
The open studio classes showcase a variety of artworks from individuals who choose their own themes and context.
The exhibition will feature a collaborative abstract artwork entitled From A-to Z, with Jasper Johns.
Bronwyn said the artwork assisted connection between all classes, fostered interaction and promoted reflection and dialogue.
“Where there is collaboration, delightful things can be achieved,” she said.
Bronwyn is a qualified teacher and professional artist who endeavours to support her students to become the best individual artist they wish to be.
