Man behind bars after Echuca police chase

According to ACM, police allege they saw Moss-Blake driving a white Mitsubishi in the Echuca area about 3.40pm on April 21.

Police activated lights and sirens but Moss-Blake allegedly sped away from them.

Moss-allegedly Blake drove through a red light, driving about 90km/h in a 60km/h zone before police stopped the chase.

Moss-Blake, who represented himself in court, told magistrate Rodney Higgins he was applying for bail because he had mental health issues that needed to be treated.

But police prosecutor Senior Constable Paul Bush told the court the accused would be an "unacceptable risk" to the community if he was released on bail.

Mr Higgins denied Moss-Blake's application and he will reappear in Echuca Magistrates Court on June 15.
