Traffic disruption on Echuca-Moama bridge

Motorists can expect disruptions on the Echuca-Moama bridge next week as essential maintenance works are carried out.

NSW Transport has advised a single-lane closure, traffic control and a 40km/h speed limit will be implemented while routine inspections and maintenance are carried out.

Works will be carried out at night between 8:30pm on Monday, June 21, and 6am on Tuesday, June 22, and again from 8:30pm on Tuesday to 6am on Wednesday, June 23, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to allow for up to five minutes of extra travel time while works are being completed.

NSW Transport said "two river crossings will provide a safer and more efficient journey for road users travelling over the Murray River between Echuca and Moama" and thanked motorists for their patience during this time.
