The music tutor has become a regular at community events - any chance to play his guitar and promote South West Music, and he’ll be there.
This weekend, South West Music is providing the opportunity for music lovers to hear more from Mr Ruiz.
The ‘Christian Ruiz in Concert, Plus Special Guests’ performance will be held at the conservatorium tomorrow from 2pm.
“Embark on a musical journey through South America with the evocative sounds of solo classical guitar in part one,” South West Music said.
“This concert celebrates the heart and soul of the region, featuring vibrant rhythms, heartfelt melodies, and rich traditions. From lively folk tunes to nostalgic tangos, it’s an invitation to experience the warmth and passion of South American culture through its music.
“In part two, Christian will be joined by special guests - a South American vocalist and percussionist.
“Let the music transport you through vibrant cultures and breathtaking melodies that stir the heart and ignite the spirit.”
South West Music live music subscribers, students and under-18s can attend the concert for free. Otherwise, tickets are $20.
