The girls came out firing from the start and did everything we talked about.

We got out to a great lead with some amazing shots by all our goalers and came off with an impressive win.

Football
U14s MFL — Moama 3.3.21 lt. Cobram 3.4.22
A hotly contested first quarter saw both teams desperate to win the footy, with some great individual battles around the ground.
Jesse Bringans started well, providing plenty of dash on the wings, while the midfield group battled hard to keep the ball moving forward.
The second quarter saw an increased level of desperation, with both teams hungry to get another win on the board.
Noah Langborne was as silky and skilful as usual and the backline did well to repel Cobram’s attacks, only conceding three goals to half time.
The third quarter saw a shift in the young Magpies, being able to get some fantastic, free flowing football going into the forward line.
Lachie Hogan gave us a great option, as did Jobe Shanahan and Dylan Jenkins.
The final quarter saw only the Magpies put a score on the board through a goal.
The desperate final quarter was one for the ages, with both teams fighting down to the last second, with the Tigers being able to secure a one point victory.
Special mention to the Magpies backline, who held Cobram scoreless after half time.
GCJFL — Moama 5.5.35 lt. St. Augustines 14.9.93
Moama travelled across to Kyabram to take on St Augustines on a magnificent Sunday morning.
St Augs started fast, but Moama were able to wrestle some of the play back with Archie Peat, Sam Hooppell, Maisyn Douglas and Jett Keam getting their hands on the ball.
The second quarter saw the Moama back line under pressure, with Arj Whelan, Oscar Richards, Archie Connors, Ryder Clark and Liam Hearn working well together to repel many of the St. Augs forward movements.
In the third Moama were able to create plenty of opportunities for their forwards with Jack Pell and Tom Boylan Roberts setting up Oscar Burns and Levi Griffiths.
Once again Moama finished well in the last quarter dominating most of the play.
Harry Thompson, Curtis Wood, Harry Limbrick and Katie Shanon all had great games and have continued their improvement each week.
Another great team effort.
