An earlier version of the article entitled “Mental health nurse ‘crossed boundaries” contained a photograph of a Nurse Specialist at Sydney Children’s Hospital, known as Sandra ‘Sandy’ Thompson.
The article incorrectly suggested that Ms Thompson was the nurse in question in relation to the subject matter reported in the article.
McPherson Media Group wishes to make clear that such a suggestion was unintentional and was made in error.
McPherson Media Group has since corrected this error by removing the article, together with the photograph.
McPherson Media Group apologises unequivocally and unreservedly to Ms Thompson for the damage, harm and embarrassment done by publication of her photograph in connection with the story, which is entirely unrelated.
