Young runners from the across the region converged on Jack Eddy Reserve in Moama on Friday, May 17, for the district schools cross country event.

The day saw 428 competitors from 16 schools across the district take part in the event.
The first 12 students in each of the age groups — 10 boys, 10 girls, 11 boys, 11 girls, 12/13 boys and 12/13 girls — qualified for the regional day in St Arnaud on May 28.
