The branch is back at it again this Christmas with their annual giving tree appeal.
In conjunction with Echuca Moama Apex Club, their mission to give to those who need it most - particularly in 2020.
“It's been a particularly tough year for a lot of people, but there is always someone we know we can help,” branch manager Wayne Jenkin said.
“We want to make sure the people of Echuca-Moama who need a helping hand get just that.”
The Bendigo Bank has set up a Christmas tree in the branch where people can drop gifts and non-perishable food that will be distributed around town.
“It's important that we keep things local,” Apex member Brett Tonkin said.
“We didn't want the gifts to just go to a pool and never see them again. We wanted to support our community.”
Bendigo Bank's Ros Berryman said anyone could bring in a gift to put under the tree.
“We just ask that all presents be put in boxes and if people just want to drop in and leave a gift, they're more than welcome,” she said.
“We do have present tags here at the branch so you can write the ages the presents would suit on there as well.”
Bendigo Bank and the Apex Club have also been supported by Intersport Bennetts Echuca for this project.
