In total, eight local players took part in the proceedings across a range of events including singles, pairs, triples and fours.
The event brought together the best bowlers in the state, as they battled it out to earn a place at the national championships to be held in Merimbula later this year.
Other results
Men’s singles: Frank Tonn (Leitchville) fell at the quarter-final stage 19-25 to Jay Bye-Norris, the eventual overall winner. Robert Wastell (Moama) was less fortunate losing in the first round against Ray Butler, 20-25.
Women’s novice singles: Jasmine Aburrow (Leitchville) suffered a first round loss going down to Jen McClure, 7-21.
Women’s pairs: Jessica Dehne and Roma Opie (Leitchville) were eliminated during the quarter-finals after losing to Cobram duo Ieva Saunders and Marj McDonald, 13-21.
Mixed pairs: Pat Schram and Phillip Thorn (City of Echuca) exited the competition at the quarter-final stage after losing to Ali Forsyth and Kelly McKerihen, 6-27.
